15 mins from Pitlochry the famous Bruar Falls flows through the Atholl Estate. Bruar is a very special place for canyoning in Scotland. Its first descent was over 15 years ago, and was one of the first canyoning venues opened in Scotland. It has exquisite waterfalls and rock features surrounded by beautiful pine forests.

This canyon has everything to offer; awesome jumps ranging from 2 meters to 8 meters, flumes, vertical rock slides and awesome waterfall abseils. Bruar Canyon is non stop fun, with something for everyone! The canyon has a footpath running up the side, so its great for friends or family to come and watch, take photos and enjoy the canyon from a far.

This canyon has everything to offer; awesome jumps ranging from 2meters to 8meters, flumes, vertical rock slides and awesome waterfall abseils. Bruar Canyon is non stop fun, with something for everyone! The canyon has a footpath running up the side, so its great for friends or family to come and watch, take photos and enjoy the canyon from a far. 1.5 -2 hours of Canyoning.

We only operate small groups for maximum experience and time with our instructors. We always offer the best sections of the canyon to suit your ability and conditions.

The canyoning company team did an excellent job of making sure everyone had a brilliant time and gelled as a group. Canyon choice was perfect with an individual level of instruction tailored to suit everyone's needs. Accommodation was fantastic with high end local food and wine throughout. Sustainable integration with in country support staff provided a solid cultural component and truly immersive and authentic experience. All equipment provided was of superb quality and transfers made for a smooth experience from door to door. Would highly recommend getting involved with what will be expernces that last a lifetime. I had never tried canyoning and now I have already planned 2 weekends with friends in my country. Amelia and Rory were great. The 2 only things I would have made different is, first take a longer and higher level course because it was so cool but too short. And second I would have taken my outdoor sports camera to take more pictures especially of the scenery. If you have gears you take for rafting, canoeing or rock-climbing you can definitely take it canyoning without any worry. I'll more than likely come back to Scotland to explore more of it and this will be a must do for sure every time. Thank you guys JM read less
