AN AMAZING DAY OUT
“Being a mother of two teenage boys, occasionally I find myself in circumstances I would never have imagined myself in, canyoning is one of them. On a recent trip to Scotland, I tentatively suggested to my wonderful travel agent about some ‘action’ activities to keep the teenagers amused while we stare at drop dead gorgeous scenery. A day with the Canyoning Company, exploring the magnificent Bruar Canyon, was the result ( plus some mountain biking and white water rafting, but that’s another two reviews). From the moment we met George and Ben, our guides for the day and owners, my fears were put at ease. Highly professional, but relaxed and friendly, Ben and George soon had me leaping off waterfalls, abseiling down cliffs and scrambling along rocky shores. The canyon itself is stunning. But what really impressed me was how professionally run the whole experience was. The “canyoning gear” was all in beautiful condition, along with the thermal wet suits and climbing shoes. Safety was the number one priority and at no time did I feel we were in danger or pressured into doing something we didn’t want to do. My two boys (aged 13 and 16) absolutely loved it and surprisingly, so did my husband and I. It was such a satisfying and rewarding day and I would highly recommend this experience for families or individuals. I also loved the fact that it was just us in the group, and they do like to keep their groups small for a better experience. If you are ever lucky enough to be in Scotland, make sure you seek these guys out.”

“I just had my stag do with these guys and it was one of the best experiences ever. Great accommodation, 4 fantastic activities, great price, 2 genuinely nice guys running the weekend and they cooked us a great BBQ too!
I had organised a stag do a couple of years ago through a competitor and whilst those guys were fine, The Canyoning Company were on another level. The personal touches they put in to organising the weekend set them apart and I would definitely recommend them and use them again.” –
