On this mind altering trip, we aim to submerse you in the world of canyoning combined with the beauty and tranquility of the French Pyrenees. Ariege and the surrounding area is a Mecca for canyoning and has some of the most iconic canyons in the south of France. DATES: 24-29 SEPTEMBER

Ticino is a county in Switzerland, based in the heat of the alps, the area is mostly Italian speaking, as Ticino is on the border of Italy. We will spend 5 days canyoning and soaking up the Swiss mountain culture, descending some of the most iconic canyons in the region, and finishing on a helicopter drop-off to descend one of the larger canyons in the area. DATES COMING SOON

Madeira is an amazing Portuguese island off the coast of Africa. It offers canyoning all year round and has 80+ high vertical canyons and the waterfalls are BIG! Some of the abseils are +100 meters so a good head for heights is needed. The locals are extremely welcoming and food and drink is fantastic. FIND OUT MORE

Travelling on my own I joined a mixed group with varying experience levels for a phenomenal week in the Pyrenees. The canyoning company team did an excellent job of making sure everyone had a brilliant time and gelled as a group. Canyon choice was perfect with an individual level of instruction tailored to suit everyone's needs. Accommodation was fantastic with high end local food and wine throughout. Sustainable integration with in country support staff provided a solid cultural component and truly immersive and authentic experience. All equipment provided was of superb quality and transfers made for a smooth experience from door to door. Would highly recommend getting involved with what will be expernces that last a lifetime. I had never tried canyoning and now I have already planned 2 weekends with friends in my country. Amelia and Rory were great. The 2 only things I would have made different is, first take a longer and higher level course because it was so cool but too short. And second I would have taken my outdoor sports camera to take more pictures especially of the scenery. If you have gears you take for rafting, canoeing or rock-climbing you can definitely take it canyoning without any worry. I'll more than likely come back to Scotland to explore more of it and this will be a must do for sure every time. Thank you guys JM read less
