Bruar Canyon

“Scotland’s Classic”... Only 15 minutes from Pitlochry, Bruar Falls on the Atholl Estate is one of Scotland’s longest-running and most celebrated canyoning venues. With over 20 years of guided descents, Bruar combines dramatic waterfalls, sculpted rock features and mature pine woodland to deliver a striking Highland setting.

Dollar Canyon

“A stunning slot canyon, with everything to offer!” Just 45 minutes from Edinburgh, Dollar Canyon is one of our most popular trips—perfect for beginners and intermediates seeking an accessible yet thrilling Scottish canyoning day. The slot canyon threads through lush Clackmannanshire countryside beneath the watchful silhouette of Dollar Castle, creating a dramatic, photogenic setting that complements the technical features.

03

Alva Canyon

“One of the best slot canyons in Scotland” Alva Gorge, a committing slot canyon just outside Stirling, offers a high-adrenaline exploration for experienced canyoners. Narrow, sculpted walls and dramatic drops create a compact, technical route that rewards fitness, focus and previous canyoning experience. Expect multiple technical rappels, exposure in tight sections, and a memorable zip-line entry into the atmospheric “Smugglers’ Cave.” The penultimate feature, Corkscrew Falls, is a standout—an electrifying descent that leaves participants buzzing.

04

Tummel Canyon

“Awesome abseils one after another” Hidden on the shores of Loch Tummel in Perthshire, Tummel Canyon is a compact, technical canyoning route offering a high-adrenaline exploration for experienced canyoners. It’s all about the rope work—expect up to 14 abseils, with the largest single waterfall reaching 18 metres—making it the perfect choice for anyone wanting to spend serious time on a rope.

05

Grey Mares Tail Canyon

“The Big One” Grey Mare’s Tail is a landmark, high-commitment canyon for experienced canyoners — from huge jumps and high-speed rock slides to zip-line crossings and a breathtaking multi-pitch abseil to finish. Set in dramatic upland scenery, the route packs sustained technicality and exposure into a full-day descent that tests rope skills, stamina and nerve.

06

Dundonnell Canyon

“Scotland’s Best — Most Epic Canyon” Dundonnell Canyon electrifies even the most experienced canyoners. Carved through a deep glen, it presents some of the most dramatic and pristine canyon features in Scotland and demands full commitment from the moment you begin—after the first abseil you’re fully in the canyon and the adventure unfolds.

07

Paraohs Canyon

“A remote, committed Highland canyon” Located near Garve on Scotland’s north-west coast, Pharaohs (at Ardessie Falls) offers a canyoning experience unlike any other. Access requires a steep approach up the mountainside beneath An Teallach and Sàil Mòr, rewarded by sweeping views over Little Loch Broom before you enter the route.
