Ultimate Bruar experience is a trip you will remember forever! This canyon descent is an Advanced canyoning adventure, which runs from the very top to the bottom of the Bruar Falls. It is full of jumps from 3-10 meters, slides up to 6m, abseils up to 18m, and zip-lines.

We tailor every trip to suit you and your group. Ultimate Bruar is a great canyoning trip for those who have been canyoning (or a similar adventure sport) before, have abseiling experience, and are confident in water.

ADVENTURE DETAILS

“Scotland’s Classic”

Our trip from top to bottom, covering the full Bruar Falls, lasts over 3 hours in the canyon (depending on the group size and ability).This canyon has everything to offer!

The trip starts with a meet and greet over a brew and a snack. You'll then kit up and take a 20 min hike through beautiful pine forest to the top of the canyon. Before entering the canyon you'll listen to a short safety brief and learn to abseil using canyoning equipment.

Now it's time to get wet! After a quick dip in some refreshing Scottish water, you’ll jump right in with a two their waterfall slide followed by a mixture or jumps and slides, ranging from 2meters to 10meters. Then main event, abseil yourself down the 18 meter waterfall.

After some more snacks and a short walk you enter the lower section of the canyon, a natural playground full of flumes, vertical rock slides, and awesome cliff jumps. This trip is non-stop fun, with something for everyone!

We only operate small groups for maximum experience and time with our instructors. We always offer the best sections of the canyon to suit your ability and conditions.

The canyon has a footpath running up the side, so it's great for friends or family to come and watch, take photos and enjoy the canyon from afar. If spectators are looking some something else to do the House of Bruar shop and food hall is right at the bottom of the canyon.

The canyoning company team did an excellent job of making sure everyone had a brilliant time and gelled as a group. Canyon choice was perfect with an individual level of instruction tailored to suit everyone's needs. Accommodation was fantastic with high end local food and wine throughout. Sustainable integration with in country support staff provided a solid cultural component and truly immersive and authentic experience. All equipment provided was of superb quality and transfers made for a smooth experience from door to door. Would highly recommend getting involved with what will be expernces that last a lifetime. I had never tried canyoning and now I have already planned 2 weekends with friends in my country. Amelia and Rory were great. The 2 only things I would have made different is, first take a longer and higher level course because it was so cool but too short. And second I would have taken my outdoor sports camera to take more pictures especially of the scenery. If you have gears you take for rafting, canoeing or rock-climbing you can definitely take it canyoning without any worry. I'll more than likely come back to Scotland to explore more of it and this will be a must do for sure every time. Thank you guys JM read less
